 Faith Formation Conference 2012 Minimize
Save the Date
Christ, Our Light
Faith Formation Conference 2012

From Jayne Mondoy
Director, Office of Religious Education

“Christ is the Light of nations.”
May we gather together in the Holy Spirit
to bring the light of Christ to all men,
a light brightly visible on the countenance of the Church.

We come together in unity as believers in “Christ, who is the Light of the world, from whom we go forth, through whom we live, and toward whom our whole life strains”.  Together, let us strive to fulfill the plan of the Eternal Father ~ to raise men to a participation of the divine life ~ by bringing Christ, Our Light to all people.  From Lumen Gentium

"Christ, Our Light"
“Christ, Our Light” is the theme of this year’s Conference. Inspired by Lumen Gentium, the conference sessions are intended to give participants a new pulse of vitality, and a renewed spirit of communion and participation as we prepare for the Year of Faith. The Church described in Lumen Gentium is a Church rich in life; a Church which, far from withdrawing into herself is opening up with greater energy; a Church which must bring the Gospel to the world.

Therefore, the Conference is for everyone ~ not only teachers ~ we offer educational experiences for those in all ministries, all ages, and all walks of life. We ask for your help in promoting the conference and in our evangelization effort to bring “Christ, Our Light” to all.
